This is Rookery Farm, a family-run, 150-acre farm on the West Sussex coast. Their family has farmed here for over 130 years, and for the past 20, they’ve focused on producing top-quality organic eggs.
They believe happy chickens lay the best eggs, so their welfare is their top priority. Unlike most farms, their hen houses are mobile, and they rotate them to fresh pasture for each new flock. Though labour-intensive, this keeps the land healthy and natural. As an organic farm, they avoid chemicals and provide a balanced organic diet. Every morning, they care for their hens, ensuring they thrive.
