It’s been such a good couple of weeks here at Tried & True. With the kids off school, there’s been a real buzz in the café. Busy mornings with laptops and flat whites, plenty of familiar faces, and loads of you getting properly stuck into the pies (which we love to see).
As things settle back into the usual rhythm, we’ve been working away behind the scenes on a few things we’re really excited to share with our T&T community:
Bistro Nights with Chef Mickael – something a bit special for the evenings
Our new Lunch Club – perfectly timed with the return of the Hot Chook and The Big Dill
The T&T Work Club – a little weekday treat for those putting in the hours with us
We’re kicking things off with a soft launch of our first Bistro Night, and seats are limited. If you can make it, we’d absolutely love to have you in.

We’re trying something a little different this weekend at Tried & True.
This Saturday, we’re hosting our first Bistro Night with chef Mickael — a simple, proper evening menu, cooked well, and served in a relaxed neighbourhood setting.
Think:– A short, seasonal menu– Proper plates, done right– Good wine, cocktails, and a bit of atmosphere
It’s our first one, so we’re keeping it fairly low-key — but we’d love you to be part of it. Starts at 6pm last tables at 9pm.
